Meet J. Stephen Yuille

If you are not aware of him by now, you should be.  J. Stephen Yuille is fairly new  to most readers, and Reformation Heritage Books is excited to have him as one of its authors.  Yuille has  a pastor’s heart, a scholar’s precision, and the ability to communicate these things with the best of writers. He recently started blogging at Deus Pro Nobis, so be sure to visit him there. We look forward to seeing plenty of edifying material there.

Our bookstore just received one of Yuille’s latest books, Puritan Spirituality: The Fear of God in the Affective Theology of George Swinnock. This is the publication of his PhD thesis, done under the supervision of Anthony N. S. Lane at London School of Theology.

His two books that RHB has published are 1) The Inner Sanctum of Puritan Piety: John Flavel’s Doctrine of Mystical Union with Christ, and 2) “Trading and Thriving in Godliness”: The Piety of George Swinock. We think you will find these very beneficial.

You can also check out an interview he did on George Swinnock over at The Conventicle blog by clicking here. So if you are not acquainted with him or his works, we are glad we could help you meet J. Stephen Yuille.
